About us

Villa Iris is a residential care home (HVB) that welcomes teenage girls with substance abuse issues. Villa Iris is located in a rural area between Hörby and Sjöbo.

About the role

Your main tasks include:

• Care in the form of treatment work such as individual and group conversations, daily activities

• Everyday tasks such as cooking, driving

• Documentation and development work

We work with evidence-based methods such as A-CRA, CBT, MI, and low-arousal approaches.

The position is a permanent employment at 100%. Work is conducted during the day, evenings, sleeping nights, and weekends. Salary is according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements. Start date is according to agreement, preferably as soon as possible.

Who are you?

You have completed post-secondary education in social work - social pedagogy or treatment pedagogy. Additionally, knowledge in substance abuse treatment and working with adolescents is preferred.

As a person, you are responsible, relationship-building, flexible, and secure. In this role, it is important to show great empathy and to be low-arousal in your interactions. The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, so you must have good communication and collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A background check will be required before employment.

To apply for the position, you must: 

• Be educated as a social pedagogue, social worker, treatment pedagogue, or have another completed at least two-year post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent

• Have experience with adolescents and treatment work

• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• Have good computer skills as documentation is extensive

• Have a B driver's license - manual. You need access to your own car to get here.

We would also like you to have training in: MI and A-CRA
